Global superyacht leader Burgess joins forces with NEOM to provide unparalleled services for Sindalah’s elite yachting community.
NEOM has entered into a strategic partnership with Burgess, a leading global superyacht provider, to extend its premium services to Sindalah’s esteemed yachting community. This collaboration, in anticipation of Sindalah’s grand opening in 2024, aligns seamlessly with NEOM’s vision of establishing Sindalah as a premier global yachting destination, providing guests with an extensive array of services tailored to their yachting requirements.

Situated off the coast of NEOM in north-west Saudi Arabia, Sindalah is poised to unveil a luxurious lifestyle for its visitors. Boasting a world-class yachting ecosystem, Sindalah marina is destined to become a focal point in the international yachting calendar. Under the agreement, Burgess will deliver a wide range of luxury services to enhance Sindalah’s global yachting offerings, encompassing yacht management, charter and charter management, sales and purchase, yacht insurance, new build and refit projects, yacht marketing, and procurement.
Antoni Vives, Chief Urban Development, and Islands Officer at NEOM, expressed their commitment to establishing Sindalah as a unique yachting destination. Recognizing chartering as a pivotal aspect of the yachting experience, Vives highlighted the partnership with Burgess as a means to facilitate chartering activities at Sindalah right from its launch.

The exponential growth in the demand for superyacht services in the region prompted Burgess to establish a Middle East presence in 2016, positioning the company perfectly to cater to Sindalah’s discerning guests. The SRSA, a key enabler and regulator of Red Sea coastal tourism activities, introduced yachting-friendly regulations in 2023, aiming to facilitate smoother customer journeys for marine operators and practitioners while safeguarding the Red Sea environment through the deployment of technology in permits and licensing processes, regulatory frameworks, and infrastructure planning.
