Italian builder Baglietto is navigating a busy stretch, with several new builds underway and refit activity sharpening the shipyard’s profile. As the yachting world leans into bespoke construction and renewed sustainability standards, Baglietto is proving itself a yard ready for the challenge.
At the center of the current wave is the freshly announced 54‑metre Baglietto T54 — the first hull is now in outfitting after the yard confirmed the sale earlier in 2025. The T54 builds on the success of the T52 line, delivering expanded volume, refined lines and greater customisation potential — including a multi-level aft, a generous lounge surrounding an infinity pool, a spa‑and‑gym wellness zone, and a roomy sun deck. Baglietto expects first delivery of the T54 in 2027.

It’s not the only line seeing activity. The 34.5‑metre Baglietto DOM 115 — a smaller, more accessible superyacht offering — recently launched its first unit, fulfilling the yard’s ambition to deliver high‑end customisation at a more modest scale. A third DOM 115 hull is already on order, with delivery expected in 2027. The DOM line shows Baglietto’s ability to serve both the high-end and semi-custom markets with equal finesse.
Meanwhile, refit work continues to keep the yard’s broader service base active. Mid‑size vessels — including recently relaunched yachts — are undergoing hull and systems maintenance, structural refreshes, and aesthetic upgrades. This steady refit flow demonstrates Baglietto’s dual strength: supporting full custom builds and offering high-quality refit solutions.
Baglietto’s strategy reflects broader sector trends: growing demand for both new‑build superyachts and for refits that modernise older yachts. Their ability to manage this dual demand — from high‑volume new builds like the T54 to bespoke refits and smaller series like DOM 115 — positions them as a versatile force in the Mediterranean yacht market.
For owners looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Baglietto offers flexibility, craftsmanship, and a clear delivery pipeline — whether the brief calls for a brand-new custom superyacht, a refined mid-size build, or a robust refit to extend a yacht’s lifespan. With both construction halls and refit sheds working at pace, Baglietto is showing exactly why the yard remains one to watch.
