A complete transformation by Zuretti Design reveals a refined new chapter for the former ice-class vessel.
The newly unveiled interiors of the 72.45-metre explorer yacht Q mark the latest evolution in one of the world’s most distinctive conversion projects. Originally launched in 2012 as the ice-breaking support vessel Sanaborg for Dutch operator Wagenborg Offshore, the vessel underwent a major transformation at Icon Yachts in 2017, emerging as Project Ragnar. Relaunched in 2020 and sold three years later, Q has since completed a substantial 2025 refit that redefines her identity while preserving her rugged explorer spirit.

Overseen by Arrow Monaco, the refit introduces a four‑metre swim platform extension and a complete interior redesign by Zuretti Design. The result is a striking interplay of sophistication and strength, blending metallic accents with serene, natural tones. The yacht retains her formidable ice-class capability—ready for Arctic expeditions or tropical escapes—while offering a new level of onboard refinement.

Inside, Zuretti’s vision prioritises openness and light. Expansive windows flood the main saloon in natural illumination, where cream furnishings, light oak finishes, and sculpted metallic details create a space of calm continuity. The eight guest suites, including two master cabins, carry the same understated luxury: soft textures, warm wood panelling, and meticulous craftsmanship throughout.

Q accommodates up to twelve guests, supported by a professional crew of eighteen. Exterior decks are designed for every mood—from alfresco dining and sun lounging to the Jacuzzi and helipad above. On the lower deck, a complete wellness area offers a gym, spa, massage suite, and hammam. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Q achieves a 10‑knot cruising speed and a 6,000‑nautical‑mile range, reaffirming her status as both explorer and sanctuary.
